a regular driver license in any state. The
class work covers the effects of alcohol and drugs
on your driving ability and also the consequences
of a D.U.I. as well as some of the traffic rules
and safe driving habits.

You must be at least 15 years of
age to take the DMV test which consists of 20 questions
on road rules and 20 questions on road signs.
You can not take the DMV test by itself it must
be in conjunction with the First Time Drivers class.

You may elect to take this 4 hour
class if you have not taken the class within one
calendar year, you have not taken it 5 times in
your lifetime or you did not receive a citation on
a CDL license.
When you pay for your ticket you will need to check
the appropriate box which will result in a discount
on the cost of your ticket. If you received
more than one citation at the traffic stop this
can only be used against one of them. Please
check with your Clerk of the Courts to know how
many days after receiving or paying for your ticket
you have until the certificate needs to be presented. |

You must take this 4 hour class if
the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
has notified you because you were at fault in an accident
in which someone was injured. |

This 12 hour class is for individuals
who meet one of the following:
- Have been ordered by a judge to attend
- Have a suspended license because of too many
points and are seeking a hardship/work only license
or license reinstatement
- Habitual Traffic Offenders (HTO)

For
all of the above classes that are taken on the Internet,
certificates can be sent either in PDF format to your
email address or can be sent by regular US mail at no
additional cost or mailed UPS 2nd day or overnight for
more. If you choose to take it in a classroom then
you will receive your certificate at the end of class.
The cost of dinner is not included when attending in a
classroom. If you did the video your certificate will
be mailed upon receipt of your paper work by Advanced
Traffic Education II, Inc. It can also be sent by
fax if your county accepts it or express mail for an additional
charge.
Faxed, email, or letter confirmation of payment for
the class can be sent to you for your convenience.
You will be responsible for presenting the certificate
of completion to the clerk of the court. |
